Yes! I am a trained clinical social worker, which means I support a wide range of client challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, identity changes, compulsive behaviors, ….. to name just a few.
I also have specific training in sex therapy which I believe adds so much richness to therapeutic work. Our sexuality is such an important part of our health and wellbeing, and I like to foster openness and curiosity about all aspects of your relationships and self expression, which yes, means I also like to talk about sex. -
Sex therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy that addresses sexual concerns and challenges. It helps individuals and dyads explore and resolve issues related to sexual function, intimacy, sexual identity, and sexual satisfaction. The approach is holistic, considering psychological, emotional, relational, and physical factors.
-
Sex therapy is not only for couples/partnerships/dyads, in fact, many people choose to attend sex therapy individually to explore their sexual needs, desires, fears, and/or challenges. I do not currently have openings for couples sex therapy but hope to expand in the future.

During your initial sessions, we will gather information about your history, current concerns, and goals for therapy. If your concerns are related to sexual behavior or functioning, your intake will include questions about your sexual history. Subsequent sessions will involve exploring these issues through evidenced based interventions, dialogue, skill development, and optional assignments for between sessions, All sessions are conducted via a HIPPA compliant, confidential, telehealth platform.
